ok what i had in mind is that the smart people work together to make a how to thread on how to make a bluetooth gamepad like turn a xbox or ps or something and make it have bluetooth that works for all phones including phones with sense ui look wut this guy did with a snes controller i dont get what he did but he added bluetooth to it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FZTz2KO9vU

so all u people as smart as me and other gamers lets work togeter to accomplish this he also has code and stuff here
https://github.com/sk3tch

could you make a controller usb which is actually really easy and then put a usb bluetooth adapter on it the type of controller im talking about is here
http://www.instructables.com/id/SNES-USB-controller-and-flash-drive/

CarsnGadgets or you could just install 'wiimote' from the market and use a wii controller or datel retro controller via bluetooth.

It works perfectly on my Archos 101

This. I've used my Wiimote several times as a BT gamepad, and it indeed works great.

Obviously something like a ps3 controller would be more versatile, but as I understand it, the encryption hasn't been cracked on it.

There are options out there. Physically modifying a controller seems a bit extreme, especially considering you're going to be playing on a mobile phone.

Eddie i wont lie i think it is fun if it is cheap i think i found a way to do this if u look at the instructibles link at the top u find a snes controller hooked up with a flashdrive and the buttons have been switched kind of because he installed a keyboard into it i cant explain it just look now imagine doing all of this then instead of a regular keyboard use a bluetooth keyboard 1 of the cheaper bluetooth keyboards i found so far is at tiger direct for $40 i will try to find a cheaper 1 or buy a used 1 doesnt matter if keys are ruined and then instead of a snes controller i will try something bigger like a xbox or ps2 controller how does this sound and the keyboard had usb that is a major part on how to build the controller with that link or u can get a bluetooth keyboard at ebay for less then 20 bucks i just checked there is 1 going for a dollar

has anybody every given this a try?

Amazon.com: SNES Retro USB Super Nintendo Controller: Video Games

my only regret about going to the droid x from the droid one is that my gamegripper obviously became useless. I've been looking for a viable solution ever since. I know that I can do the wiimote, but that requires both the wiimote, and the classic controller which is a lot of hardware to carry around. Just wonder if anybody has this and what they think.

My brain hurts from trying to read this. A little grammar, capitalization, punctuation, etc. might help. I'd say it was just one long run on sentence, but then that would require it to end with a mark of punctuation.

I want something like the classic controller pro, since it has the 2 extra shoulder buttons. My project for the weekend is hacking a wiimote and a classic controller pro and combining the hardware physically. If it goes well, I broke a car mount that I might attach for shiz and giggles. If it really works well I'll try to figure out a way to incorporate a micro usb charger or something.

This is a lot of hoping and dreaming, and probably not worth the money I invest, but you never know right?

Be kind, its my first post here. LOL

good idea, but sadly i forgot for it to be a plug in mini usb, you would need a driver, which is super lame, but people look up onlive on evo, it is happening and be out soon which will have a special controller that will work for evo and is easy to get, but im still working on my super blue tooth controller that uses bluetooth keyboard buttons i havent decided to replace the joysticks with dpads this would be easier to wire wut do u think and does anyone know how to hook up the keyboard parts to the joystick if it doesnt its fine the dpad would work if you wanna go 2 directions just press the 2 buttons at once,

sry for incorrect grammer its hard to type with one hand.

die grammer nazies!!!!!!!

and i am modifying a xbox controller with blue tooth by the way(it has the most buttons)

Hey Saosin maybe I can help?

If you have an HTC unfortunately the options that are out there for bluetooth gamepads wont work due to a conflict with HTC Sense. The only options out there right now are the Wiimote (not HTC compatible) and the Gamegripper which only works if you have an external keypad.

My company is actually in the process of making a bluetooth android gamepad that bypasses HTC Sense and provides more functionality than the Wiimote app does.
