how soon after the conference did you place your order? might be able to find a pattern of people placing it a little late after the announcement.

I placed mine like 10 minutes after the page came up

Conference ended at 12:00PM PST, I ordered 2 hours later at 2:00PM PST.

They had all day to ship, but didn't. :(

Edit: It's weird too, some guy on another forum had it shipped from Indiana to NYC it arrived today. I live in Illinois, right next to Indiana..

Is everyone's phone shipping from Indiana or what? Could someone post their origin city for their N1?

It looked like mine came from Tenn...

i think the problem you guys are having is because you ordered it so late after the announcement.

Called FedEx and lied to them saying I was at work and didn't have the tracking number and they were able to tell me my package should be picked up today and arrive tomorrow

Update:
I'm on the east coast, MD to be exact.
Ordered yesterday at 359pm w/ T-Mo Contract
Order confirmed and processed at 403pm
Shipping info not yet received but as you can read I talked to FedEx about it

Ordered: 2:05 PM EST (with T-Mobile Activation & no engraving)
Google Checkout Status: Not Yet Shipped

I am, however, holding the phone in my hand - it arrived 30 minutes ago, despite what Google Checkout is telling me and despite receiving no shipping notification email or tracking # call from FedEx. The charge isn't even showing up on my card yet.

I placed the order very shortly after the ordering page came up. The first time I loaded the page, T-Mobile was still grayed out. I reloaded ~ 3 minutes later and T-Mobile was no longer grayed out, but after submitting all of my info, I got an error message saying that the T-Mobile servers were down and that I should try again... so I tried again about 10 minutes later and the order went thru.

So there's still hope for many of you guys!

Ordered mine yesterday at 3:09pm EST, didn't receive shipping notification till just after 7 this morning, due to be received tomorrow ><

What sucks is a lot of people are saying it's shipping from Indianapolis, I need to go mug the fed ex guy to get mine, I live in Indy!

Also, since it's shipping from here I'd bet Brightpoint, Inc. is handling distribution for Google..
FWIW, the return address said HTC USA
