Another FWIW: I call #611 to ask what torture would be inflicted upon me if I just returned the iPhone4 to BB. (History: pre-order 2/9/11, Dinc: 2/13/11, exchanged Dinc for iPhone4 2/23/11) I was suprised to hear them say return the phone to BB activate your old phone on that line and when the TB is available we will honor your upgrade discount. Hmmm... That just might be the way to go at this point. Thoughts anyone?

That's what I'm doing...its brutal because the only spare Verizon phone I have is the original blackberry storm...bleghhh

Saw this floating around yesterday. Not really sure what to think about it. Sure they can wait as long as they want to release the phone, but if the Evo 3d releases first, they might as well not even bother. This phone, while great, is on the border of older technology. All indications are that the Evo 3d will blow it out of the water. Verizon would have to feel lucky for customers to buy it at a $99 price point, much less $299.

Unless sprint widens their network and makes the jump to LTE the Evo3d is just a good phone on a slow network with less coverage. Id rather have a thunderbolt on a great fast network, even if its guts aren't the super newest thing out.

Hey, I agree. I want the Thunderbolt also, but if Verizon waits too long, it will be hard to find a reason to buy it. There will be other LTE phones, as well as phones on other carriers that will lap it. If its released in the next month, no problem, beyond that.....well I guess if they discount the price.

No that isn't it but you are observant and correct on the POS! :)

What's funny is I think I owned every single one of those phones, only swap out the Razor for a Chocolate (I don't like to talk about that, it makes me all stabbity...)

I remember the Qualcomms at the top, had one of those when we had service through Qwest lol...

I'll be honest, this is the first time through all of this that I'm starting to crack and toy with the idea of the Bionic. Didn't think it could happen, but it is.

Still can't help but wonder about BMX saying "the greatest trick Verizon ever played was getting you to believe the Thunderbolt ever existed." Or something like that; I apologize if I mis quoted.
