As you know, there is not a known way yet to root the 2.2 version on HTC wildfire.
I've bought mine recently and thinking about replacing it for the earlier version of 2.1 (which can be rooted).
My question is whether i should?
On the one hand, i guess the 2.2 version is better than the 2.1.
On the other hand, this phone without rooting is almost useless..
I guess (and hope) that the hackers will be able to figure this out for the 2.2, i just dont know when. Are the changes from 2.1 to 2.2 that important that i should wait for the great breakthrough? or should i go right away and replace my phone?
