What features do you want on the Evo 2?

Greatest thing about this, dylan, is the fact that I'm not actually upgrading because I hate the EVO. I love the EVO so much, ever since I bought it, but the EVO 3D just seems too good to pass up, even though 1 year down the line, Sprint's next version of the EVO might be SO much better.

exactly. i still love my evo.

It's insane. Who would ever thought after a year....we would want an upgrade so bad? The EVO is a beast. It's unbelievable that the successor outstages it. No doubt I'm getting this phone regardless of price. Infact, I love the original EVO so much I might keep it as a collectors item lol.

Im pretty sure with the type of hardware being put in these phones + all the new networks being built, in 2013 or so laptops will be used to burn CD's and things of that nature and high end cell phones will start replacing the need to always be on a comp if not for the need of a bigger screen.

With quad core processors, and these HD everything screens, memory, and hopefully better all around batteries, your phones will truly be your all in one device.

Record true good quality videos and be able to do a almost high quality edit right there with effects and transitions right on your phone.

I know I may be thinking to far down the line but I you would have told me 10yrs ago that I would be able to have real broadband speeds, fully 1080p video and the ability to play games that I were the same quality as my PS2 on my cell phone, I would have laughed at you.

Back at launch (before and after purchase), if you had said to me that the next EVO would have me chomping at the 'bit to upgrade, I would've emphatically said, "there's absolutely NO way that the next EVO would be that much better that it'd make me upgrade after 1 year."

Well, I guess my thoughts betrayed me...LOL. I'm just happy that I've been around with Sprint for 10+ years, otherwise I would've had to wait until April 2012 to have full upgrade again.

You've in essence described how much the EVO has changed my lifestyle with regards to computers. So for me, I'd say it's already applicable now!

If you had told me 10 years ago that I'd have no problem browsing on my phone without a need to jump on a computer, I would've said there's no way. As of right now, even with my EVO, I rarely take my laptop off its dock to browse the internet. While I was in WinMo hell trying to browse the internet, I was always wanting to have a laptop around...Now, very rarely.

The camera has been exactly what I've needed for quite some time. I was just on the verge (prior to buying my EVO) of buying another point and shoot camera to replace my old one that had a bad LCD (within 1 year). After I got my EVO, I figured the only camera that I'd need (if I wanted a dedicated camera) would be a DSLR...and getting one of those, given my needs, wouldn't even be a good idea.

Just wanted to shout a welcome back to freeza and our old compadres as well as big welcome to our newest members! :)

Can't wait to hear more, BSOD! ;)

It's amazing how much excitement this is giving us. Reminds me of the FROYO days and how angry everybody got when big red didn't deliver for the OG D1. This thread has exploded. Made a new one with all of his posts in one post so people don't have to dig through pages. Feel free to delete Earlymon or let me know if you don't want it BSOD!

Android Forums - View Profile: BlueScreen

Click on the Statistics tab, then look at all posts (or try this link) - http://androidforums.com/search.php?do=finduser&u=82187

Then go back to his early history.

And so while it's true that conflicting info is out there - BSOD has never been a troll.

Just sayin' ;)

I concur with this. There were some things that BlueScreen had mentioned back then that didn't end up happening, but he clarified that things can change once the product has left his area and Sprint decides to make certain changes. For the most part, a lot of what he had mentioned did end up on the production model of the EVO.

Long time no see man!

Thanks for the wb lol. We getting an HTC EVO 3D forum soon? :)

I say keep all the EVO 3D stuff on the EVO forum until the actual release date or the phone is "formally" announced. I'm sure all the mods would easily be able to move all the EVO 3D related threads into the appropriate forum when the time comes.

After all, this will be the next generation EVO, so all the comments are still applicable until it's been established that the EVO 4G 3D will be replacing the EVO 4G in the current Sprint lineup.
