Epic failure? Where's froyo update

Well Here it is 3/21/11 and not only is there no OTA update yet My phone will not let me do anything. This started yesterday....ODD?

Update Firmware = General Error messsage ERROR: UNKNOWN ERROR
Update Prifile = General Error messsage ERROR: UNKNOWN ERROR
Update PRL = General Error messsage ERROR: UNKNOWN ERROR
Update Android = General Error messsage ERROR: UNKNOWN ERROR

Way to go SPRINT/SAMSUNG

I think my EPIC is ending up to be an EPIC FAILURE

HTC EVO anyone?
I still have 3 weeks to decide and don't think I will wait that long...LOL

this is somewhat normal.. just wait for it to be pushed to you..

My Sprint rep says he has it on his Epic. He downloaded it from Samsung a couple of weeks ago (he said). When we went on the Samsung website, the Froyo download had been removed. He had no explanation but will be looking into it and let me know.

They pulled it. This new OTA is supposed to contain some fixes.

Sorry to be a newb but I just got a Epic 4G (Bought it used from someone and it had 2.2 on it) I recently had to have it replaced and now its back at the original 2.1 and when I was on the phone with Sprint they said they took the OTA update down? When did they do this and what was the problem with it? Do people still recommend 2.2 manual update? Are they going to release 2.2 again?

When I had the Hero I went through this and now the Epic...awesome

Installed fine, took about 5 minutes. Not sure what you mean by sprint branding, excuse my ignorance
