Where to complain about Facebook app?

Well I switched from an old BB 8330 to an LG Optimus V and with the Facebook app from the BB App World when enabling "push", I recieved all of my notifications when they were posted. The version I got from the Android Market doesnt do anything. I have to physically go to FB to get my notifications. Or is there something wrong with my phone/service?

Why waste your time on the facebook app? Just use your browser. When I got my EVO, I couldn't stand the onboard FB app, so I just used the browser and haven't looked back. Go to facebook, and scroll down to the FB mobile site link, bookmark it, no problem.

The whole reason I got an Android phone is because of the App capabilities.
Without all the apps and capabilities these phones make no sense. I loved my BB but it got confused and froze too much. The apps worked better, as did the apps on my iTouch. I understand that this is not either of those and these phones are great, but come on they could be so much better if you turn the phone on and see a little number next to your email inbox, or your FB app. Its a convenience feature that all who had it will always miss!

If your phone has android 2.2, the facebook app WILL push notifications to your device. Just hit menu-settings in the facebook app, and enable the notifications you want.

The other way around this, is to enable email notifications. You will have to go to facebook on a pc browser, go to yout account settings, and enable the notifications you want to be emailed to you. Send the notifications to your gmail address, that way they will be pushed to the phone within a few seconds.

Android can do this. Just add a widget to the facebook app, email app, or messaging app, instead of an app shortcut. Also, any notifications you get are always up in the notification bar, thats what it's there for.

I'm guessing these are Facebook development issues, but figured I'd check with the GP... it's certainly possible there is something I need to fix or change...

2 issues with FBMobile (may be the same issue):

1) This a.m. I was tagged in a post. When I opened FBmobile the post was in my news feed. I repsonded to it. Closed FB app. 5 minutes later re-opened FB app and that thread is no longer on my newsfeed... WTH? Why wouldn't a thread you were tagged in AND responded to stay in your newsfeed?

2) When I open FBMobile it opens to the newsfeed. Back button once gets you to the "main" screen where it shows notifications. Over the past few weeks 3 out of four times the notification says 2 (as in 2 new notifications) but the list of notifications ends with one from February 23rd. The other 1 out of 4 times it actually shows the correct # of new notifications and history list is correct...

Any one else have any issues similar to this? Thoughts on correcting or is this just an FB deal?

Thanks
