Anyone else want another OG Droid?

Now I am not asking if you want the current OG Droid, but something that lasts as long. I mean I have had this thing for nearly 2 years and it still is as fast as a Droid Pro when it is overclocked, AND gets better battery life!

I mean according to quadrant my phone is easily 4x faster than a stock OG Droid and to be honest after playing with the Thunderbolt yeah I like it, but I am not jealous...

It isn't that big of an upgrade...

Who else loves their OG and hopes that someone can pull another device out of their hat that is so versatile and powerful 2 years down the road?

I have yet to feel compelled by any of VZW's offerings since getting my Droid in Nov 09. In order for a phone to truly replace my Droid, it needs....
-to be a Google experience phone
-easily Rootable/ROMable
-physical kb
-FFC
-at least 512MB RAM (preferably 1GB)
-dual core CPU
-to cook me breakfast

The physical kb was the reason i bought the droid in the first place. However after the first week in never used it un less i need the directional pad for something. in fact the siding mech is kinda loose now so its more annoying than anything bc it moves a little when i use the phone.

I got the OG because I also wanted a physical keyboard and figured I would use it all the time.

I have used it 7 times...

7 times out of 2 years...

Yup hahaha.

I don't know why everyone hates the OG Droid keyboard. I can type exponentially faster on it and with fewer mistakes than say, the keyboard on the Epic, which my girlfriend has. The Epic's keyboard is that traditional "spaced" QWERTY keyboard that most people like on phones, but I like all the keys being flush together. It makes it very easy to move around on the keyboard quickly.

I'm with you - tiny virtual keyboards are awful. I refuse to switch to another phone unless it's got a physical keyboard.
