Love the Thunderbolt but not a big fan of the volume buttons

I really like the phone but I feel the volume buttons are cheaply made. They are not very tactile and I actually had to exchange my bolt today for another one cause the volume up button became stuck no clicky response at all and it would not register the key press unless I really pressed super hard.

So I got the new phone and its better and it works but the volume up on this phone pretty much sucks as well. Barely tactile and really mushy, pretty much the opposite of the volume down on both the phones I had. Just seems like they got real cheap with the buttons which is a dissappointment as I really like the rest of the phone and its features.

I personally don't like the volume buttons either .. the ones on my Incredible were much better- I could actually tell that I was pressing a volume button. On this phone when I'm talking I have to guess where they are and pull away from the phone to adjust them which is very annoying. The volume and power buttons seem to both be cheaply made.

My volume up doesnt click that good...I can bearly feel it click
Volume down clicks good..opposite of volume up.
Makes me feel better its just not me having this issue.

Yea it seems to be either the volume up or volume down that doesn't work that good.

I've actually had to exchange my thunderbolt 2x. The first one had a solid volume up and sticky volume down I had to exchange it do to a unresponsive screen when plugged into the oem charger.

The second exchange was due to a volume up button that flat out got stuck and wouldnt even register.

The phone I have now currently has a responsive volume down and not to responsive volume up but they seem to be working which I guess is all that matters.

I just dont get why you would cheapen something like volume buttons, I mean even if they got top of the line ones I wouldnt think a button would break the bank.
