All right, gave this a go, but it didn't last on my Droid long. I would go through the sign in process, get to the "backing up Google" page, then it'd reboot and I'd have to start over again. Did this a few times. Bypassed it after a while, tried to restore apps, reboot.
I tried the kernel provided, and I couldn't get past the M. Ok, RaidZero kernel (CorCor's provided link did not work). No reboots, but man, was my Droid hot. Restoring apps was very slow, and my battery percentage was all over the place. Was almost full when I started, got the low batt pop up, charge it up, checked it after about 15 mins to see how app restoration was going, and noticed the phone was fully charged.
I take it off the charger and play with it for a bit. Batt percentage dropped again. Finally, I'm just annoyed, it's well past midnight, I'm restoring Liquid. And now, Liquid is running smoother than before, so I dunno. lol
