every kernel will react differently to different phones. but on that note i would recommend netarchy toastmod kernels. my phone likes havs more and havs less kernels. the only way to find out what is best for you is trial and error. you can get them here: [Kernel]netarchy-toastmod, Stable: 4.3.1 Beta: 4.3.4 (17-Mar-2011) Now With HDMwIn - xda-developers

Man Koni you out did yourself on volume three. It's everything I thought it would be and more. By far the best Sense rom on the web! I had been flashing around waiting on ESIII and think Ill be on this one for a while.

i had problems with es2 but i really like the looks of this rom and for just a few hours of used its really good.
i'm going to try es3 tonight, or if when i finally able to restore my nandroid backups

quick question, how can i re-enable the stock htc keyboard? i didn't get a chance to look at it before swype enabled...and i dont see an option to go back to the stock keyboard. i liked the way it looked.

Thanks for putting this together.
I had to get a replacement phone yesterday, so i lost all of my nandroids. After RLS 4 on my old phone, i went directly to your rom.
But i made a nandroid of RLS5 last night and im back on this. I was talking to someone on xda about your rom, and i think i will be spending a lot of time on it
He said he was going to look into it and try it out too.

Why didntcha keep yer old micro sd card? Or backup the nandroids to yer kapooter? I know hindsight is always 20/20(to quote Dave Mustaine), perhaps this mssg will remind folks to do that

Hey Koni,
I have used other ROMs that eliminate the data blocks/governors. Do you have that particular mod built into Elite III? I have seen the EPST tricks didn't know if that was the data governor mod or if it was something different? I think there is something about the Hulu mod that doesn't allow the 3g Data mod to work properly. I tested this once and my speeds increased dramatically once I eliminated Hulu. Sound right? Also I heard something about Adfree and that you had to revert in the application and then update the hosts??? Something like that.

try toggling your verification in your recovery...turn it off

Your recovery is where you flash things. Hold volume and power down at the same time to get into "recovery"...once there...turn of verification...then flash the ROM

Sorry, meant to say in recovery. I have quick boot. To turn off the verification, is it in the flash zip menu?

nice job koni loved the rom, had to delete it tho. every time i would reboot it would freeze on the splash screen. back to elite II
