Thunderbolt has different 1400mah Battery types.

I just received my replacement thunderbolt in the mail from amazonwireless and found to my suprise the battery with this replacement looked a bit different than the one I had with my first thunderbolt. Both batteries come in a package with the exact same part number. I was wondering which style does everyone have and which of these seems to be performing the best? They are different model numbers one ends in 08 (batt #1) and one in 09 (batt #2)

I have a 9m
not sure it matters its probably just the batch number for the battery... every so many they change the batch and start the next number.. this way if there is so many faulty batteries in a batch they can recall the whole batch to be replaced

Yeah, i'm sure its a batch number but there is a slight difference in design. They centered the water detection sticker for one and they have completely different serials and sticker types. I am just wondering if anyone who has claimed to get over 24 hours of use from their thunderbolt has the 08 or the 09? I used the older 08 (batt 1 in the picture) I would say with a regular busy day it could do 12 hours no problem.

Yeah I noticed that my first TB had better battery life then my current second phone which has the number 2 battery that you have in the pic. I wonder if others are experiencing similar senarios.

I have the 09 battery! And let me start by saying , my battery life suxxx...I'm going for a replacement tomorrow. I'll post with what battery the new one comes with.

I have the 9 but get decent battery life. Are all of the other markings the same? Info like manufacturer, countries, etc.?

I have 08 and the battery seemed ok until yesterday....all of the sudden even on 3G my battery would die about 10% every 10-15 minutes...I had to keep my portable emergency charger by my side plugged in almost all afternoon so I didn't run out of juice. Something weird is going on with my phone lately. This is my second TB. My co-worker also just got his and the 3G won't work at all. He left a 4G area for the first time yesterday and he couldn't get data from chicago until he got to Indy. Very weird.

See other threads about 3G connectivity. Many users having same issues. Some solutions have worked for some, not others.

They are almost identical except the labels and serial numbers more or less. Also the casing on one differs very slightly from the other. One has a finer looking plastic. I know its from two different manufacturers but who knows really.... I just want to keep the cell that was made in japan lol if either were made in japan.
