Im not on the rooted build yet. This is what I've noticed.

Dropbox force closes on occasion.
Gmail force closes on occasion.
Graphical fubars. Especially looking at the very top of the battery stats.

about the graphical fubars. are you referring to the top of the battery stats where it shows you the chart of your battery usage? where you can click it and see the larger graph? if so, that was one of the things i thought was neat. but i went back to froyo for the 2nd time and i'm here to stay for at least a little while. i'm waiting for the bugs to get worked out and some roms. it just wasn't as smooth for me either time as my froyo based roms. the new gingerblur is nice but not working out for me. i'll wait for a blurless version of gb.

ESPN Radio app is not showing up in the market.

I noticed this same thing and am not happy about this, it is basically my favorite app. i hope they fix that soon.

i am also generally not a fan of the way you put apps on to the home screen in GB, it is more of an annoying process now.

i am assuming after some time, there will be some nice ROMs utilizing the GB kernel now available? i loved Liberty 1.5 and would like a GB version of 2.0

Are you guys talking about 'ESPN Sports Radio 1080 The Fan', by jacAPPS? That app is showing up in my Market.

What's pissing me off is that everytime I've flashed a new ROM and open 'Keeper' back up it gives me the option to restore my last backup from the cloud, even though I've never paid the $30 dollar subscription (which is ridiculous). It's always aloud me to restore from the cloud, but this time it isn't? So now, basically I either have to give them $30 bucks to get all my passwords and stuff back, or I have to SBF back to 3.2.30 and restore one of my ROMs on that kernel, open 'Keeper' up from there, and copy them all down on paper.

****ing bullshit I say.

You can't use Titanium Backup to bring that data forward with you to the new phone?

I always do a full TiBu of apps + data, switch ROMs, restore, and boom, everything is back to normal.

Exactly what I thought. I did a fresh TiBU just before flashing GB, even sent everything to the DropBox. But even after going into TiBU and restoring 'Keeper', when I launch the app it tells me to create a password, which it's always done in the past, but then after creating a password it usually lets you do a restore. But this time after I created a password everything is blank and all I can do is view what all is possible if I pay them $30 bucks... including doing a restore. But it's not letting me have my one restore that it always has in the past.

When I first got this app it was a free app, and you could upgrade to premium for extra features and such. But I was happy with just the free version, didn't need to be able to restore anytime I felt like it. Not for $30 dollars, no thanks. But being able to restore your account after a factory reset and the like, that's not a luxury, that's a basic function. And it's never been a problem before. It seems like now they've decided it's not a free app that you can upgrade.... now they're pretty much saying, "pay the $30 bucks or you don't have access to your information".

Which is complete horse shit because I have over 50 some passwords, credit card numbers, vital personal information and all the rest of it stored in there. I don't have it all written down anywhere, I used to. But after using that app for over 6 months, and gaining trust in it and the cloud they stored the information in, I got rid of my paper copies so that they couldn't wind up in the wrong hands at any point.

So now I'm pretty well ****ed until I pony up $30 bucks. What a rip. I think I'll pay the money, hurry up and write everything down on paper, and get a refund and go with another password keeper. I know there are plenty of them out there that are free. And even the ones that aren't free aren't $30 ****ing dollars! Give me a break. It's almost exactly like the password keeper that comes free on all Blackberries. Which is where I started keeping all that info on my phone in the first place, on my Curve. When I switched over to Android I looked through a bunch of password keeper apps on the Market and found 'Keeper' to be the closest thing to what I'd been used to using on my BB.

Email the developer. I think we all forget that's an option sometimes. Thus far, my dealings with developers has been extremely positive.

I guess it's worth a shot.

Ha, it's funny because when I read the very first guy who said the hard keys were lit up super bright I remember thinking he must have just never noticed how bright they were before. Then when I read someone else echo his remarks I thought he must have thought they were brighter simply because he had read the other guy saying they were lit up brighter. Then I flashed Gingerbread and the first thing I noticed was.... "wholy shit are the hard keys ever ****ing BRIGHT"!!!

Given the ridiculous amount of screwing around with the phone I've been doing, I think battery life is as good as any build of any ROM that's been on this phone. GummyJAR is my benchmark for the best battery life, and it seems that Gingerbread is about on par with it.

Have you looked to see if you have a particular app running amok, or is there a process in your battery history that didn't used to use a lot of juice?

Have not narrowed it down. I just flashed it last night.

Quick Question:

Can I delete all of the Social Networking apps with TIBU without fear of hosing anything? I don't use Facebook, Twitter etc.

Thanks.

I am having a problem setting up my corporate sync. I can't get past the setup screen. I did notice that it doesn't ask for the server name or SSL options like it did in Froyo. Maybe that's on the next page? I just keep getting an error "Login to the account failed, please try again". There is 'fix' for a 'sync error' that involves wiping data and cache several times but I think that error has to do with a persistent sync arrow in the notification bar. I did it anyway with no luck. I have repeatedly wiped data, cash and Dalvik with no luck.

What really surprises me is that I haven't heard of anyone else with this problem. I have installed Touchdown and got that working. Unfortunately the calender and contacts do not really integrate into the other phone software.
