Is everyone still happy with their Desire's? :)

You know I agree with the fact cameras are going downhill.. yea we have 720p video these days but back In 2007 when I had my Sony Ericsson K850i, I was taking amazing pictures on that 5mp camera, and it was really nice to have a xenon flash, I can't understand why they are all LED now and less attention to the camera :/ Sony Ericsson always used to be my phone make of choice but now they have changed and I don't like them as much anymore, and as far as Android goes, HTC are better than Sony Ericsson :p - I can upgrade in 8 months and I'm hoping a new HTC that's amazing in every way will be here by then :)

Very. More now than when i got it 9 months ago. No battery issues, everything is dependant on the display. My display is rarely on more than 4 hrs a day, so battery fine. Get rid of all those app killers, didnt need them. Phone now customised just to how I like it. No complaints. Use Opera Web browser, and Colour Note app most. Toggle 3g/g and toggle mobile internet widget - searching for 3G all the time wipes your battery!

Great phone.

And I'm not even rooted. Didnt see the point.

Took two photos to compare. There is a bit of difference, and I agree I think Miui brings some improvements. But I still don't think its great. Difference really clear when zoomed in.

Yep im completely happy with it, only gripe i have is the amount of phone memory, it just means i have to delete some apps to install new ones but if i get an upgrade once my contract ends then hopefully the next phone (hopefully an android) i get will have bigger memory and some of the other niggles will be ironed out.

i love my Desire but my other half wouldnt leave it alone(angry birds was laggy on her wildfire)so ive given it to her.
went out on Sunday and got myself a Desire S and to be honest, the phone IS amazing.i put all my bits and pieces on(modern combat, nova, asphalt 5,golf shrek, assasins creed,rf11 plus many more) and ive still got a whole heap of memory left. All the games are alot smoother to play.
I had a choice of SE arc, play,LG optimus 2 and after playing around with them all the desire S won hands down.
The SE's are nice but it went down to the desire s or the optimus and although the LG has dual core,it just didnt do it for me,it didnt seem any faster going through the menus and the UI IMO is plain ugly.
Basically,i love my Desire(S) and i cant wait for the pyramid and i cant see me moving away from HTC.

I cant stand the LED flash its awful! Xenon Flash was outstanding on Sony Ericsson k800i few years ago why havent the mobile industry picked up on that??

they did...it was called the LG Viewty and then its big brother the Renoir..5 an 8 megapixels....GREAT lens's and xenon flashes :D

had both...shame the UI's, touchscreens and just general 'feature' phone system let them down..

Didnt know LG had xenon flash. I know nokia n85 had them but after that it dissapeared. Very strange decision to ignore it!
