This ROM is freaking incredible.. I've been holding off on loading a GB ROM because of all the issues people have been having, but I took the plunge and loaded this one up..

All I can say is.. WOW! - It's fast, super smooth and just works.. been running it since last Friday and it's been nothing less than phenomenal..

Can't see why this ROM isn't getting more love on this forum..

Just loaded it out of Rom Manager this afternoon, along with ultra low 1.0 kernal. Initial impression, seems like an excellent build. I had been running the C-Rom but as of late it had been random rebooting on me quite a bit. The only issue I am having is, when I unlock the phone, the screen lock seems to lag for a split second.(stays in landscape mode, even though I am holding in portrate mode). Also, a few times after the unlock, my screen stays completely black accept for the 5 launcher pro icons across the bottom until I touch the screen.
Going to run for a few days, then I'll chime back in.

I still haven't had any issues. Memory was my biggest issue with other GB ROMs and I have had no force closes or background applications stop with this ROM. Definitely sticking with this for a while!

Still having the same issues as other GB roms, Google maps just closes on me after being open for about 10 seconds, nothing I do gets this to keep running, I removed the program and reinstalled it and the same thing happens, GO! SMS does the same thing but not as often, every GB roms I've used has this issue for me and I'm not sure whats going on or why, anyone have any insight? I know others have had this problem too but not too many, must be something in particular with my phone?

If I could get these small issues fixed, oh and cant forget the 3G going dead after a phone call, getting tired of switching to airplane mode and back again after almost every phone call I make, these two things have been consistent with GB so far for me, would love to get them fixed

Flashed this last night without a wipe (over Pete's GPA 14) and it's been running really smoothly. The lack of options on the stock build, while aesthetically pleasing, started to get frustrating. I was definitely craving customization. So far this ROM has been pretty snappy and stable, so I'll probably let it hang around for awhile.

If anyone can help... I have a Motorola bluetooth wireless headphone set and when I change the EQ in DSP manager, it doesn't seem to do anything. Any suggestions? I am happy I don't get a force close with DSP manager, but don't understand why it doesn't work. I still am really happy with the ROM otherwise.

This is by far the best GB rom I have used to date. I have had the fewest issues with this rom than on any rom I've tried. Everything works, and works well for me all of the time and I use my phone a lot. I'm only clocked to 800 with the stock kernel, and this thing is fast, stable and runs with cool temps. It has all the options and settings you can ask for, without compromising stability. Good work Chevy!

Anybody tried bluetooth voice dialing? Does it work? I read awhile back that it was broken in this ROM. That's a showstopper for me.

Bluetooth dialing works fine with my Motorola headphones. I just tried bluetooth dialing again this morning with my headphones to verify that it works.

Do you get the proper voice prompts via BT? That is actually the problem w/ a lot of GB ROMs. Voice dialing will fire up, but the phone doesn't speak out the voice prompts as it should.

It worked this morning with voice prompts. For example, I said "Call blank" and it said "Call blank at home, etc."

I just tried it again this afternoon and BT voice dialing is behaving erratically. I even tried rebooting. Very strange, I will play around with it more when I have time.

I have probably used a dozen roms, Froyo and GB. This is the first ROM I have used that alleviated all the wifi issues my phone has. I was able to connect to WIFI networks I never could, speeds are fast like they should be on wifi and no dropping wifi connections. Beyond that, its fast, pretty and functional. I don't think I will be switching to anything else anytime soon.

If you'll go to Chevy Tools and then scripts and then other and choose the script named DSP Manager/BT Voice Dialer, that should fix the problem. Of course, you'll lose DSP Manager, but I never use it so it wasn't an issue for me.

Haven't tried it yet, I will when I get home.

EDIT: I can confirm that this works.

This rom finally fixed my issue with Slacker constantly restarting and losing my place.

I haven't seen anyone talk about it but in Performance Tweaks you can choose a custom app to lock in memory.

Thanks for linking this ROM. After 2 days it's working great on my Droid. Most importantly no FC or issues with 3G.

I really like this rom but it's driving me crazy. It will work fine and then it will slow down and practically freeze up and I'll keep getting 'so and so process is not responding ' which I then hit 'wait' and it then responds. I've done permissions which didn't help-its even lagging like mad trying to type this! Could it be a kernal issue? Most all my apps are on SD and it's showing over 50mbs free mem so it's not that. Help, I'm on the verge of going back to froyo it's so frustrating.

More info: CPU gov disabled, using setcpu w/profiles. Cleared Dalvik. Compcache at 18% default. No surface dither. No allow purge of assets due to multitasking issue with it. Vm heap at 40m. And switched from using LP to ADW launcher which made no difference. Locked home in mem also.

Have you installed the patches? Seemed to help me.
