Help droid in droid 2 clothing issues (need qwerty.kl)

OK, so I bought a D2 that had "slight" water damage, when I got it, looked more like it had been sitting at the bottom of the pond. Long story short, the previous owner fried the main board, but everything else on the phone works just fine, so I dropped in my D1 guts and fired her up.

So I may have the first ever original droid with updated keyboard and new, sleeker stylings :D. Well, my problem is that Moto decided to move around the front buttons, and the layout of the keyboard.... So my menu softkey for instance is really back, and the physical keyboard, while all the letter keys are correct, has some quirks too. I mounted /system and pulled the qwerty.kl and sholes-keypad.kl to fix my problem, but some things just are not so clear, so if someone could post their qwerty.kl and sholes-keypad.kl (or equivalent) for me to look at, I would be much appreciative.

I would pull it for you but I believe there are some slight differences in the D2 and the D2G keyboard. You may want to contact the D1 rom devs. A few months ago they were including the D2 keyboard in the roms but it was causing all sorts of problems i.e. keys not matching on the physical keyboard. One of them is bound to have an old rom with the keyboard still backed up they could send you.

Thanks for the suggestion, found a rom with the D2 keyboard and found that not much was different in the 2 files so I grabbed a D2 rom, and used those. After reboot it seems no keys have not been remapped, so it looks like I have a little more reading to do.
