its not really a fair poll,as AOSP roms dont really exist yet. if youre an ASOP fan as i am,tesla coil is as close as youll get at the moment. after that,id say virus rom would be a close second. its not AOSP by any means but is senseless and works very well. das_bamf senseless works well too,but i like the theming a little better on virus.

if youre a sense fan, alot of folks are very happy with perfect storm and das_bamf,and for good reason.

your needs and desires will play a larger part than anything in what rom will work,or if you should even root. alot of folks are plenty happy with rooting and simply removing some bloat from the stock rom.

having said all that, assuming a perfect world(i.e. functioning cm7 :D) i picked AOSP for the poll. i got used to vanilla android on my droid 1,and i love the little tweeks CM throws in without spoiling the AOSP experience.

ive tried a bunch of roms so far and im not sold on any of them completely yet, anyone know which rom has htc's way of doing things completely removed? i had alot more power as to what i was doing on my sholes droid than i do on this phone, for instance i cant just search for a file to make my sms notification.

mmmm....... i need to try Das BAMF.... but i like VirusROM with sense... now am stock with all bloatware remove and custom kernel...

i liked virus rom alot. but it had some minor issues sending picture messages from home(seems to be an issue for me with alot of roms... i must live within a cellular black hole or something )

i liked perfect storm, but GPS takes a few minutes to lock on.

so now im back to bamf, and really diggin the 1.4 themed version. if picture message remain consistent and gps works well ill prolly be staying here for awhile. :)

Liquid Thundersense FTW. My battery life is ridiculously good on this ROM, I've tried Lotus (really cool ROM, cool features, but several obnoxious display glitches), Das BAMF (Flashed two different times on a completely stock wiped system and both times I had problems with internet dropping after a day or two and never coming back until I flashed a new rom), Perfect STorm, and one other.

Liquid Thundersense has BY FAR the best battery life, and I have yet to see any glitches at all. If you had a Droid X and you found yourself always coming back to ApeX by Fab, I don't see how you could use any other rom that's currently out for the TBolt. Love this rom...

I voted for BAMF, but as you can see in my sig I'm running Perfect Storm and will until CM7 is finished, which sounds like sooner than later!!

I would have voted for both if I could, but since I ran BAMF longer and hadn't been running Perfect Storm long enough to give it a full endorsement I went BAMF.

I'm lovin my current ROM/kernel combo that's for sure though!

Das Bamf for me.

Not a single issue with this rom.. funny thing is that for some reason it seems to run better than it did stock... have not figured that one out... I think it's in my head.

Not in your head, these ROMs use stock as a base (unless it is an AOSP like CM) and then tweek the hell out of them to improve the preformance. They should run better then stock :)

Oh and Das BAMF for me as well... loving it...

I would vote AOSP, but that does not exist and it seems you want an answer for immediate flashing. Thus, I say das BAMF. To me Sense/Seneless/AOSP does not matter as I have replaced almost all of the stock apps with others. However, the AOSP framework is easier, and CM always has cutting edge features. I would flash CM as soo nas it is available.
