Root screen wont turn back on after call ends

so on the tbolt. if im making a call put the phone next to ear it turns off which is fine
but after a bit if I take the phone off my my ear like if I want to hang up the screen stays off
till I hit the power button and then press end call is that normal I didn't have tthat issue with the x any input please

Are you using a case? have you cleaned your screen lately? There is a small proximity sensor a quarter of the way in under the speaker grill. Sometimes it can gets caked up and "blocked". I'd try cleaning it or removing your case and see if the problem still exists.

no case and i keep the screen clean at all times
its weird like it works for like the first 15-20sec then if i pull the phone away
it doesnt turn back on unless i hit the power button and the same thing happens again

What ROM/Kernel you running? It could be an issue with one of them

It sounds like your screen is timing out while you are on the call. You can adjust this in the phone settings I believe.

I have the same problem and was about to post about it. Running latest version of Perfect Storm.

I just changed the timeout settings and ran a few tests. It didn't change anything. Still goes off and wont come back on.

its the most current perfect storm rom that is giving me the issue i check using another rom and that didnt happened its just a small bug no biggie i guess

Guys, come on now, this is taken directly from the 2nd line of the new change log. You all should be reading this stuff so you know what you're putting on your phone!

Added Ziggy's 4-10-11 kernel (Still has wake bug, flash a different kernel if you have issues)

Adrynalyne has some great Kernels. Imoseyon also does as well. I had been running Adryn's for weeks, but I'm having some minor issues so I've been bouncing around looking for a new one.
