I've been looking at getting 2 of those Free Droid X's via NewEgg.com (DROID X by Motorola for Verizon Wireless - Newegg.com).
Is there any way to get the $9.99 discount promotion when going through NewEgg to buy the service?
I would be upgrading my current 2 phones with Verizon on a contract that ends next month. Both are eligible for an upgrade.

I would think absolutely you can. But you won't get it through NewEgg, you'll have to go through Verizon. It isn't actually a cheaper plan, you will still be on a $29.99 per month plan, and then with the promotion they credit your account the $9.99 every month.
That's how my promotion works anyway. It still shows on my bill that I'm on the $29.99 plan. But then every month I get a $20 credit.
