I wonder if anyone had any experience of those cheap ones on eBay or Amazon.

I've got a silicone case with screen cover from eBay for about three quid, which is excellent. But think I would prefer the extra protection of a flip down leather case, which protects the screen when closed so I can chuck the phone in my bag.

Anyone got any recommendations cheers

The screen protector does that thought doesn't it? Would you not get sick of keep opening the flap though to reach your phone? Also would the phone in a leather case make the ringer harder to hear?

I can recommend the Krusell leather case for the Wildfire.

The flap hinges downwards (which I find easier for phoning) & there is a cut-out on the back for the camera/flash/speaker. The usb port, volume control & mic also have cut-outs. The front flap can be detached & there is a range of belt-clips available. The phone fits snugly in the case & will not accidentally slip out.

Not cheap, but good quality & well worth the extra IMHO.

Thanks for the advice that looks like a great case, does the belt clip base, stick out much when removed? Removable front is geinous.

I Have a Krusell case for my wild fire and wife has same for her Desire, it is a quality item, well made and tough. The flap can be slid of for mounting in a care phone holder and never gets in the way. I don’t use the belt clip and that is in the bin but the case does the job really well. Had one on my old phone for years, they are very durable.
