Price drop: Thunderbolt now $129

I am also looking into getting the phone through Wirefly - can't beat that price! My questions/concerns are what happens if 3 months down the road I start having a problem with the phone? Can I take it to a verizon store and have them fix it? What if it turns out it needs to be replaced? Who takes care of all of that?

Thanks!

I got mine from verizon almost two weeks ago. I paid $149.99 with an early upgrade from the droid x after only seven months of having it. It was from a coupon they sent me that had to be used before april 30th. Am I the only person that received this?

I got this coupon, $75 any android phone to be used by the 30th but my mom threw it out :/ she thought it was a flyer and i needed it to get the credit...its not in Verizons systems. So now i think im going to use this Amazon deal. Like some asked about Wirefly, if i buy it from there, can i get the insurance from Verizon? Also can i return it to Verizon if i need a replacement? I know when you buy it from Best Buy you can bring it to Verizon because thats where i bought my Inc.

The phones you order from Wirefly are the exact same devices you'd get from going to a carrier retail store. In fact, as the internet's #1 authorized dealer for Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and T-Mobile, we only activate devices from certified carrier distributors. Every device has a full U.S. warranty, and is never refurbished unless explicitly sold as such.

If you purchase from us, and you have a problem within the first 30 days, we will be happy to resolve your problems for you as part of our 30 day satisfaction guarantee. You can read more about that here: Wirefly Guarantee - 100% customer satisfaction or your money back!. After that, you can go to Verizon for assistance with any warranty issues.

I hope that helps. Let me know if there is anything else that I can answer for you. :)

If you purchase your phone from us, you have 30 days to add insurance or device protection to your order. You can purchase the insurance from the carrier or buy the device protection that we offer.

Let me know if you have any other questions that I can answer for you.

Wait, so the price is for new INDIVIDUAL plans.

I have an upgrade left on a family plan, but the best discount I get on Amazon is $180.

Can I sign up as an individual and then TRANSFER the account to the family plan, replacing the line that has an upgrade (which would mean this line is no longer within contract anyway) ?

Was previously $199, so now there's a $50 price drop to $149. Good deal if you're now due for your upgrade!

Amazon.com: Verizon Wireless: HTC Thunderbolt 4G Phone

Hope that helps :)

I am pretty sure its not the upgrade price but new contract price. I could only get it if i signed up as a new contract. There's often a difference of up to $50.

EDIT: It is also the price for upgrades, you just need to use the promo code

So is the insurance offered through Wirefly the same as what Verizon offers?

If I buy through WF and want to activate Insurance through Verizon, can I?

About to pull the trigger on this awesome deal...

I'm watching this deal too...apparently WF's insurance is through Mobile Device Protection Association, LLC.

Here is the link to more details: Additional Details

I don't think VZW uses the same one...like you, i'm also wondering if VZW will allow me to add THEIR warranty and honor it even though i bought it through VZW...i think a call to VZW would be your best bet.

Btw, the code still works although it ends in 0418...so hop on it!
