just got my Droid X and activated it. just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who has offered advice and help over the last year or so. i know i haven't been as active here recently, but i still check in every now and then to see what i've been missing. take care, everyone, and root those damn Allys if you haven't done it yet.

i haven't rooted it yet. i got one of the units with the random reboot problem, so i'm waiting for a replacement from Verizon.
my initial thought on it are: wow! are you kidding me?! why have i waited this long to get this phone?! seriously, though; this machine is a beast. i really couldn't ask for much more. and after doing some research in the DX forums, once i can get this thing rooted, it's really gonna start to shine.
best thing i can tell you is do some research on what you think you want, talk to some owners, make a decision, and then just go for it.
