Hello All....

well i am very very very new to android, so please be patient...

I have a x10 that has been sitting in a closet BNIB that i havent even looked twice at, i have been a Blackberry user for the last 5 years, currently with a 9700, but after seeing friends android based phones and them raving about android, i really want to get rid of my bb and open the x10...(originally it was a gift for my wife but instead bought her an iphone 4, waited to long to return the x10 so i own it now....)

The x10 is probably running 1.6, so the first step is to update the phone to 2.1, which should not be a problem, but im getting overwhelmed by


WENT TO S.E WEBSITE, UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD 2.1 SOFTWARE.
DURING DOWWNLOAD GET ERROR MESSAGE ....
unable to install or start phone software update components...

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully you aren't using PC Companion and are using SEUS.

And I hope you have tried using different USB ports on your computer.

Does it just say no updates?

Who is your cellular provider?
