Does it constantly drain your battery though? anyone whose had it for a while notice a decrease in battery at all? Just wondering.. I haven't noticed anything much yet, but I've only had it for a few hours..
And regarding that story with the park... WOW!!!

I sadly had to uninstall Mobile Defense. It worked great for a week, and then it started having multiple pop-ups saying that the app wasn't responding and it would force close. I would get 3-5 of these back to back and then the phone would lose cell signal and slow down greatly and need a battery removal to restart. This happened multiple times. Anyone else have this issue and know of any resolution? Would love to have Mobile defense back on but this issue makes it a no-go.
I seem to remember that Mobile Defense sent me an email, not a text message, to activate the account.
The texts are for when you try and locate the phone.
You should totally email the devs. I've heard they are super responsive. Also, it might be that another one of your apps isn't playing nice with MD.
Good luck!
Heh, sorry for the spam posts, but I have an actual question now.
I logged onto MD website and tested the Pattern Lock activation. It worked, but any combination input will unlock the phone? Am I doing something wrong?
GTRacerH, the devs mention exactly what you just wrote. Activate the pattern lock and then use the site to lock/unlock. Out of curiosity, how come some users wouldn't want a pattern lock activated? It's not a lot more work than sliding the lock, is it? I have noticed that you can't silence notification from the lock screen if you are using the pattern lock, though.I also had this issue and think it should be addressed. what you need to do for it to work properly is set the pattern lock manually on your phone and save your pattern. never take the pattern lock off of your phone manually...if you want to disable/enable it, only do it through the mobile defense website. It should work that way but it's a bit of a hassle.

You asked about Mobile Defense and he replied about WaveSecure (which I understand is overseas)
The text from Mobile Defense should come through rather quickly. I do not know why you are not receiving it but I wanted to point out that you two were discussing two different programs.
Ok The problem was on Verizon's end. Got it fixed and I'm in business. Hey do you guys stay connected to the phone via the website, or just connect when you need to? Does it make any difference......battery consumption etc?
Yea, Mobile Defense is US based, Wavesecure is in Spain I believe.
I think wavesecure actually deletes the text it sends because I can't find it anywhere. The only downside is that when WaveSecure sends you a text message you're charged an international text message fee if you're located anywhere outside of Singapore.
Hi soulesschild,
We've made tweaks and there should be no international text charges for WaveSecure users in the US.
Also, we learnt that UK users do get charged for international text messages too. Hence, were setting our SMS gateway in the UK. Anyone keen to help us with testing, please contact me.
Thank you,
