Let's see your Thunderbolt screens.

I've started tooling around with minimalist text to make a weather widget that will complement the time and date contrast wallpaper.
When it registers a location it looks great but during the day using green power it will give me an "unknown" label for the weather and "..." for my location. Is there a way for it to either hold the previous data if an update fails?

I have the weather update set for an hour, with a 1 minute refresh if it fails but green power only turns on my mobile network once an hour.

Yea, I hate how it does that. Kind of a pain, but you can go into the settings>global settings>force weather update and click it 1 or 2 times and then back out and press ok. 99% of the time this fixes it for me, give it a shot

Thanks. That's what i was trying but unfortunately in my work building i get spotty reception and the force update doesn't always catch. Maybe i'll email the developer to ask for a "hold old info" toggle.

Just wanted to say Worm, I LOVE your layouts! Clean and sharp looks good...

Can I ask what widget you are using on your lock screen? The one that is showing the weather?

Damn sir. Your layouts look so good and clean. I MUST know where you got that analog clock and the weather widget!

Thanks, guys. The analog clock is part of the Analog Clock Collection, free in the market and the weather icon is Beautiful Widgets 2x1 with GNOME_Droid skin

That's about the only reason I do it, so I can tether my kid's iPad on the occasion we travel or bring it with us.

Used the auto-root method here: [Auto] Root and Unroot (Windows)**Updated**4/20 - Android Forums

Had some connection problems when I tried it a couple times, switched to another laptop and went without a hitch.

Damn that's enough by itself to make me want to do it. I guess I'm off to study on this subject. Ill probably be asking you guys for help so be on the lookout.
