I know there are tons of CM7 threads but last night there was an update that included some drivers from the recently released source code from Samsung. This is probably the first of many such new inclusions that will hopefully make CM7 more usable.

Anyone who is using CM7 please post your experiences of this update and those to come here! I for one am looking forward to flashing this once it's "there". Thanks!

It seems like once CM7 is stable, gingerbread will already have been implemented into more mainstream roms like serendipity or cognition. Either way, I can't wait until gingerbread makes it onto a stable captivate rom, and would also like to know other people experiences with cm7.

Also, i don't think there was any major fixes implemented into cm7 from jvb other than power management improvements. I don't know what the known issues are with cm7 anyway so idk how much of an improvement that really is to the rom.

i flashed this last night on my test phone.
It seems really cool although i noticed i didnt have a market?
It was really weird....has some cool features.
Although obviously it seems real basic and clean looking.

I prefer the looks and appearence of SNL- Serendipity- phoenix
the 2.2.1 based roms really are just all superb right now compared to a basic gingerbread layout- in my opinion

then i soft bricked trying to get out lol..

i odined back to stock and good to go again..

i will wait till its more stable before messing around with this again.
