Help Constant reboots. Why?

I've seen various reasons posted as to why the Incredible (for some), has so many random reboots? It seems every time I pick up my phone after it has been sitting for 30 minutes or longer, it has to be turned on and rebooted. I love my phone otherwise. But this is getting really, really old. Does anyone have any insight into why this may be happening and what may be the culprit other than battery overheating or a rogue app? I am running CM7.

We will need a bit more info in order to help. What version of CM7? which recovery and HBOOT? radio? kernal? Did you wipe cache & Davlik? This is definately not very common and I am sure we can figure it out. My suggestion is to make sure you have the most current recovery 3.0.0.8 and HBOOT 0.92. Fully wipe cache & Davlik and flash the latest nightly. I am on 41 and everything is as smooth as buttah.

Here is what I'm currently running:

Radio: 2.15.00.09.01
Kernel: 2.6.37.4 incredikernel - gb - 3182011
ROM: CM7 Final V7.0.0 (Updated from older version of CM. Rebooting then also).
Recovery: 3.0.0.8
HBOOT: 0.92

Reason I was thinking it could be a hardware issue is that it seems as though it has been doing it since I rooted - may be a coincidence. I've been rooted almost the entire I've had the phone. If it matters, I also have a 3500mA Extended-life battery from Seidio.

If you still have issues after that, when's the last time you updated PRL? (*228, option 2)

If recently, then I'd consider changing back to the 7.28 radio. To me, it's the most stable of all Inc radios...especially if you can correlate the reboots to around the same time you flashed the 9.01 radio. Have heard of some situations where loss of network on a repeated basis results in power stability.

Pretty sure if you're flashing radios you're not forgetting a full wipe when flashing roms but that'd be the first thing I'd have thought of otherwise.
