Root GB and back to 2.3.340 HELP!

Thought I would make a thread (for help) on how to go back from GB 2.3.3 back to Froyo 2.3.340.

With all the commotion going on with the carriers and P3 dropping the bomb on us about the tethering and been tracked, I have seen quite a few people do the switch back to Froyo. I wanted to post this to avoid anyone to not do what just happened to me for not reading.

I was running GBrootedDeodexed and made the decision to switch back to Froyo. Well I decided to use the marderstock2.3.340 (bad decision) wipe data/cache and factory reset. Well that didn't work to well apparently, so here I stand with a bricked phone that only loads up until the Moto logo and wont go into recovery (factory recovery).

So yeah, HELP PLEASE!

My guess is to download drivers and RSD Lite and SBF back to 2.3.340.

TIA

EDITH: Taught I would update this thread to show the process on how to fix his issue.

i was still on non rooted GB leak until last night. I finally pulled the trigger and sbf'ed using Roolers guide, went through all the steps to get me to Pre Rooted GB. Everything worked like a champ the first time. That was the first time i sbf'd and like Thats said its not that bad at all.
Not to bad when you actually do it...everyone has the initial fear of the unknown

Not to hijack the thread, but thought I'd ask here since we're talking about SBF. I SPF'd for the first time the other day and was successful but have a quick question. After I let RSD Lite do its thing, RSD Lite progress was at 100%. However I never got a finished status and if I tried to close it I would get a warning that it wasn't done and may damage my phone. Meanwhile my phone had immediately rebooted when it got to 100% and was stuck in a boot loop. After about 15 minutes of waiting I decided to just go for it and unplugged my phone. Got everything up and running no problem, but just curious if it's common for RSD Lite to do that at the end or if I just ran into a small hiccup.

i never get a finished status, i get a rebooting phone status, and when it comes to the moto M i remove the battery like it tells you, and put it back hold power and home, and when it powers on let go of power and continue to hold home, until the exclamation point comes up

Yeah that's what I ended up doing. I saw a different walk through with screen shots that showed RSD Lite saying it was finished and mine never did. Good to know thats normal for future reference.

Okay i'm going to try sbfing how do know what rsd-lite file to pick and what sbf file i'm not understanding that part.
if you are going back to 2.3.340 then you need that specific sbf and the current version of rsd lite which is now 4.9 but i have niticed 4.8 works better sometimes when connecting to the device etc. either way here is what you need
