Root stock recovery/ camera button not working

ok, so I just went to Gingerbread, and I've got the constant sync icon thing going on. I went into stock recovery to do a data wipe/etc., but my camera button does not work. It works fine if I'm taking a picture, but it doesn't work in stock recovery. Any ideas?

you have to use the power button to make selections in gb stock recovery,it has changed, dont worry stumped the hell out of me as well lol
