The 16GB went out of stock between the time I added it to my cart and was going through checkout. Didn't want to spend the extra $100, but did it anyway. I'm leaving for a week long trip this weekend and really wanted to have the tablet to take along so I went for it. Order confirmation says that it'll ship today and arrive tomorrow!!!

I think they show up on the site as they unload them from the shipping truck so keep an eye out. I just happened to be at nowinstock.net and saw it was in stock so I jumped on and got it. That site is invaluable.

Could be. If they use an automated inventory system then they'd be entered as soon as they're scanned at the dock. If that's the case then they're selling them as fast as they come off the truck.

they sent me an "in stock" email, that's how i knew. now i changed my settings to the dock and sleeve.

Newegg has the sleeve in stock. However, it looks cheaply made so I don't think I'm going to get it. I'll look for a neoprene sleeve that it will fit in for the time being.

So WTF Tigerdirect????? I logged in this morning to check and see if there was shipping info and it says it's backordered and hasn't shipped yet??? They were in stock when I ordered and even saw them come back in stock later in the day and yet my ordered is backordered. Perfect.

Anyone else able to track their order from TD?

Mine shipped this morning. I got an email at midnight. It should be here Friday.

Same issue here with TD. Ordered on Wednesday, showing "in stock" when ordered. Checked later in day (no emails with status) and showed as BO. Called TD and was told "units here, but not processed yet. should ship Thursday". Got email Thursday stating "on back order will ship when units arrive"..

Frustrating to say the least! Don't offer something for sale if you truly don't have it. Bad business practice!

I hope that doesn't happen. I just got mine ordered tonight as well. I have had issues with Walmart in the past, but due to those issues I had a g/c to use online only so I hope I will see it next week!

I actually just got shipping information. Due in a week at my local Walmart stored. Ordered yesterday, and receiving in on the 19th. FedExed all the way from California to Virginia

Well, it appears that TD came through. Got an email early this morning with tracking info and it's supposed to be delivered today. According to UPS, they picked it up at 3pm yesterday, so I guess TD doesn't update their info in anything resembling real time.
