Screen protector?

I just ordered the TB today so it will be here in 2 days hopefully. I was planning on getting a seidio case and was wondering about screen protectors. Are they necessary with this phone, I've read some things about a gorilla glass but there wasn't much info on that and I don't even really know what that means. And even if it is a strong screen that doesn't scratch easily would it still be smart to have a screen protector?

Which ones would you recommend, there's the ones on ebay for $1, how do those compare to the $10 ones?

No screen is scratch proof, so I would definitely get a screen protector. The one I have was bundled with a car charger, case, and holster for $50 from Verizon and it has a very nice feel to it. As for the ones you listed, I'm not a fan of buying cheap from ebay(usually) so I cannot account for how safe they are, but personally I would get one from Verizon or Seido just to be safe. One of the links advertises that its for the Thunderbolt but the picture displayed isn't even a Thunderbolt lol.

I hope you enjoy your Thunderbolt when it arrives!

As long as you have a screen protector you will be fine those that you can find on eBay are great because they cover the whole screen the ones from Verizon leave the Home,Menu,Back, and Search uncovered don't know why!!! but they do. The only thing that i don't recommend is the invis shields i have seen a few people come to my work and have dust specks under the screen!! Its really weird and i also had one on my BB storm and had the same thing appear.
