Absolutely. I dont know where you read it doesnt connect to home wifi. Wifi is wifi, if its there, it will connect.

Umm, yes, you have to pay for paid apps. Pirating apps is illegal, and we dont talk about that here.

3. please suggest me android phone within 15 k........please dont suggest just by looking at their specs, those who have used them kindly recommend.

We cant suggest a phone to you until you tell us what your needs are in a phone.

2. A large number of the apps are free - and I've found they're really top-notch.

3. 15k? Ok - I'm guessing you might be using a currency such as rupees or yen or something, yes? Kindly tell us your intended country of use and/or technology (GSM?) - no need to hear about phones not compatible with your phone network.

ok my choices are htc wildfire s or samsung galaxy ace
what i"m looking for is durability and nice overall android experiences with less problems as i"ve been a nokia user.

Edit: Sorry guys i previously wrote galaxy S instead of galaxy ace.
Sorry for that

I'd go with the samsung if those were the only two choices. After looking at the htc specs it has a small low res screen, low ram, doesn't support wireless N networks, and a slow processer. The samsung beats it in every way.
The Wildfire is HTC's low end phone lineup. That's why the low spec. I would go for the Samsung, especially if you have the international SGS model that is carrier unlock.

The comparison is simply unfair: Wildfire S is a cheap low end phone, while Galaxy S is an expensive high-end phone...

If you are looking for "durability and nice overall android experience with less problems", then probably you should consider something like Desire S or Incredible S. They both are proven examples from HTC and don't have the underpowered issues of Wildfire S or the Samsung problems of Galaxy S...
