2- is there any other way that i can factory reset?

3-is my sgs still root??

4-i never had a rom in my sgs what should i instal?i feel a lot of lag on sgs....

5-what is odin?and how should i use it?

6- why my sgs says he have +\- 176MB of 304 MB of RAM shouldn't that be 512 RAM?

Thanks a lot people

1. ThinkFree is embedded into your ROM, so everytime you factory reset your phone it will still be there. There are tutorials on how to remove certain apps with Root Explorer, I tried it myself and removed almost all of that preinstalled garbage I don't even use.

2. Through Menu - Settings - Privacy.

3. Try to install an app that requires root access, e.g. Root Explorer ;) Superuser will pop up and tell you the app requires root access.

4. If your SGS feels laggy, I recommend you try the Voodoo Lagfix made by Supercurio (you can find it on XDA forums). It made my SGS go way faster. Also, you can try to download the JVH ROM, official, Samsung-made 2.3.3 Gingerbread for your device (for now available only with the NEE product code, which means, seeing you're from Portugal, you won't have Portuguese language after installing).

But if you want the maximum from your phone, try Darky's ROM :)

5. Odin is an application for flashing your phone and you should use it carefully :D

6. 512 is total, the system takes some for its core processes, the rest is left for apps.

If I'm wrong somewhere, somebody correct me :D

The firmware's product code has nothing to do with the supported languages. So even the Dutch NEE will support Portuguese. But be carefully with the new JVH gingerbread firmware. Not sure if Darky's running on it. Which Firmware are you on at the moment? Froyo 2.2.1 (JS8) is still the fastest and most stable Firmware right now. Try this with a good custom-rom and a stable Kernel. You will find both including an installing instruction in this Forum....

By the way: There are a lot of custom-roms which works better than Darky's. So Darky's is far far away from maximum....
