Do games and apps work on Honeycomb 3.0?

I am thinking of getting a new tablet with Android Honeycomb 3.0. Will the current games and apps in the market work with it?

Many work but are not optimized, but slowly apps are adding support. Some just won't work and you will have to test them out or read the app comments to find out. 3D games tend to work on the larger tablet without issue.

If you download the Tegra Zone app, there are some really good games popping up on there. They all run really well on my Xoom. Which tablet are you looking at?

A lot of my phone games work on my Xoom but there are issues with others. The only way to definitively find out is to try them out or to look for feedback on games like people have added in the XDA thread.

I am considering the Asus Transformer. The Xoom looks nice, but apparently the Asus Transformer is a cheaper, comparable alternative.

Then again, I am also looking for something powerful enough to be able to handle any game or app available.

Any dual core tablet will do for that. The transformer looks pretty awesome. I haven't had problems running any tablet optimized games so far.

I'm posting from my transformer now and love it. Specs are pretty much the same as the xoom but the screen on the transformer is much better, stereo speakers on the side give nicer stereo and there's the option to get the dock too.

There are a lot of apps that work perfectly on honeycomb but there's also a lot that don't. Google released the sdk quite late so more apps are being updated every day.

As long as they will be updated over time, that is good.

Do you know if the emulators like NESoid and Gameboid work? Also, do you know of any compatible wireless keyboards?

The emulators work really well. I usually pair up my wiimote classic to the Xoom and can play for hours. Played MK3 on snes the other day.
