I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy I5801 mobile. (Running on Ecliar). I tried the navigation tool (GPS) in galaxy i5801 for the first time but its not able to get a fix with the satellite. It keeps showing "Waiting for location". Sometimes after a few minutes when the screen turns off it stops scanning and comes out of the navigation program.. Is this normal?
I also tried preventing the screen from turning off. But even doin that for more than 10 mins I am not able to get a fix. How long does it take usually to sync with the satellite if we r using for the first time? Also is there any tweak for it without rooting the phone? I am staying in India.
