bill increase without any explaination

just got a text from metro saying my bill will be $58 next month. I been paying 54( plan + insurance). I can't figure out why out of nowhere am I being charged an extra 4 bucks. Am I the only one got this text and does anyone know what the increase is for?

I heard insurance was going up to $5 per month, but I don't know if that is for new customers or also for pre-existing customers with insurance. Still that's $3 more than even the insurance increase.

well I just got service in feb and I hadn't heard of the insurance going up so thanks for that note. you're right about the 3 bucks. I tried calling cust service and of course I can't get an answer. its like as soon as I get use to the so so service they do something to tick me off again smh
I got the same text saying my bill would be 4 dollars more than normal. I called customer service and she explained to me that they are changing their insurance plan but that the 4 dollar fee was waved off my account and that the current balance is what I always pay. Also my bill would continue to be the same. She said it was a glitch in their computer system in sending out the text messages for the wrong amounts. I just paid my bill and sure enough was what it always is.

I just went through the same thing. My 2 phones were supposed to be $95 a month. It went to $104 after the first month. Last month it went to $112. I kindly visited a corporate store and explained life to them. I am now paying $98 a month and didn't lose a darn thing. Not sure what exactly the person did, but she was kind of, uhh, miffed at me after I explained things to her and told her what I thought of MetroPCS and I was taking my business to another company.

Wow, Metro must be making a bundle on this scam of theirs. I started service in April, after two weeks of service I too got a text saying that my bill was increasing $5.00, but no explanation why. Idiot that I was I let it go and paid the darn thing. Now I see these posts and attempted to call Metro to inquire what was the additional charges for only to be referred to their corporate office. I had no idea their customer service was so substandard and now I'm trying to guess how many subscribers they have multiplied by an erroneous $5.00 monthly; WOW that is a lot of money that they have acquired on it.
