Anyone have any funding ideas for Evo 3D purcha$e?

There is no way to get it unless yo usell a bunch of your stuff. Or whore yourself out. I would suggest trying harder to get a job. Or come up with a good business idea and make it happen. What is a need that you can fill in your area?

When I was unemployed and looking for a job for almost two years I mowed lawns and did crappy manual labor work to make ends meet and feed my family and habits. I mowed many a lawn and carried many a shingles up a roof and did lots of bitch work. But thats just me.

Can you imagine? A 27 year old (at the time) taking yard work jobs from high school kids to feed his family... lol. Do what you gotta do!

1) I opt for selling. Anyone want a treadmill? :)

2) Yes, I need to renew my effort to find a job. With a clear goal of clearing my school debts and getting enough money together to learn some real life skills. Ideas are plentiful for me, the money isn't. I'm less concerned these days with having a million dollar idea than I am with establishing a free and stable life. I can however, get what I need and work toward what I want, and finding work will expedite the process. :)

3) Yes, much easier to imagine than my older self doing it :) but do it I can.

This may not help you right away, but since you already have a sprint account then you most likely have a spending limit on your bill. When you get a job you could use the phone as a reward to yourself and put it on your sprint bill. Once you put it on your bill you have til the next billing cycle to pay it off.

Oh, that's what that's all about! I always ignored that limit. lol ...i figured it was their way of suggesting I increase my spending! :) This can be helpful in the event that I find temp work before something permanent.

let's expand on the ideas! What else can my at home manufacturing cottage industry churn out?

Tables, shelves, benches, chairs, lots of stuff made from wood! One side benefit of making dog houses instead of cat towers: no carpeting needed! The carpeting is the hardest part of building those ones I make. Of course, the carpeting covers up the imperfections, so you'd have to be more precise without carpeting.

By the way, making something for your girlfriends cats isn't a bad idea. If she likes it, she can tell her friends, and maybe you can pick up some sales that way. I've sold 2 of mine so far, on via Craigslist, and the other from a friend of my mom who was given that one I showed you the picture of. She (and her cats) loved it, and she had a friend with cats who was looking for one, so she gave him my name, and *bam!* made $100 profit off that sale!

Yes, I am currently in the throws of recent graduate with no experience. Once I get a job I will be upgrading my Hero to an Evo 3D (assuming it's not out of stock) and possibly getting an Asus Transformer. In the meantime, I might really be forced to consider becoming self employed. A difficult prospect for a guy who's not very socially adept! :) Not terrible mind you, just very quiet most of the time.

Consider forgetting the fancy phone and just buy a cheap one. Save your pennies and find work. Self-employment is good, but remember that the odds are against you. Always have been against people because of the high failure rate of new business entities.

I pretty sure that keeping my current phone will suffice :) I enjoy new technology and I have a first generation phone so I would experience some great improvement in performance, but ultimately the responsible decision is to disconnect all services until I can get working again. :)

(CanDMan, don't take this personally)

In my honest opinion, people who are unemployed should not be lavishing themselves with luxuries. I'm finding it really hard to believe that someone who is not working (and thus, not required to be certain places at certain times) needs a smartphone.

All the time spent researching/discussing/shopping for a new Evo 3D would be much better used working at a temp job until a full-time position came your way.

I don't mean for this comment to be mean-spirited but I do mean for it to maybe be a blast of cold water to readjust a perspective that is skewed.

I take no offense. I know rather well the difference between a want and a need. This phone isn't something I need. It's something I want. I'm quite alright waiting for appropriate circumstances to get it. I got rid of satellite tv so I have time to view posts on here. Just a little communication before I have to cut the internet off as well :)

Really, the time I spend researching is spent on many more things than just the phone. That's but a small segment of my daily life. :) I take your message in the spirit it was intended.

See a need and fill that need! Think on your skills, you never know what could come of it. Good luck:)
