Is there a quick way to mute the TB like you could on the Droid X? On the X, on the lock screen you could swipe left to right to unlock the phone or swipe right to left to mute it. Not finding anywhere to do that on the TB?

Some lockscreen apps (like WidgetLocker), will let you customize the lock screen to do exactly that, in addition to letting you access other functions, assign more sliders, access apps from the lockscreen.

If you have an incoming call you can swipe up on the lock screen instead of down to silence the phone and send the call to voice mail. I use widget locker as stated above so I can silence the call but still answer it.

I don't think anyone understands so ill answer for you. The only way you can quickly toggle between silent and volume is if you root or use widget locker.

If that's the question, I use Beautiful Widgets, and have a "Silent" widget button on my phone (and vibrate, wifi, airplane mode, GPS and bluetooth as well).

You have to get pass the lockscreen for that and if you already went that far you might as well just use the volume rocker.

There is a free app on the market called Mute. Simply load it on you will get a small widget that looks like a whistle simply tap it to toggle the ringers on and off. I use it and it works great. Problem solved. Just type Mute in the markets search window.

Well then, I mis-understood you as well. I use Beautiful Widgets if I'm headed into a meeting and don't want my phone to ring during the meeting.
In cases of muting an already ringing phone, I either swipe UP, or flip the phone over.

in case it's already ringing, i hit the power button. i don't like forwarding people to voice mail because then i get a follow up text saying "what the french, toast?" so you can also hit the power button or volume rocker to shut it up without declining the call.
