Root I killed my phone. Stuck in bootloop

So I started in root with Z4, then did bootstrap backup and titanium backup.
D/L tbh and the .596 deodexed GB.
Went to bootstrap and installed GB from zip file. Stuck in bootloop now.
Booted to recovery, wiped data/factory reset, and still in bootloop. Won't let me boot from update.zip either. (I didn't rename tbh file as update. I might have goofed there)
I'm sure I screwed up somewhere, but I have no idea where to go from here.
Problem is, I can't access anything on the sd card because I can't find my adapter. FML! Any tips or thoughts?

Edit: When I boot to recovery, I get the following message:
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command

Not sure if that helps.

I went from stock froyo to tbh's GB update. I am using my old blackberry to rename the files on the SD card to hopefully revert to stock. Did a wipe/cache, but no luck. Right back to bootloop. I am on a windows 7 pc. Going to find RSD and see what I can do if the blackberry fails me.

I'm still pretty new to this, so take my advice with a gigantic grain of salt, but:

First, I *think* you have to go to .588 before you go to .595, so skipping that may have been your problem. (I assume you meant .595, unless something changed today .596 isn't out yet).

Second, when you made a back-up, you made a nandroid in clockwork mode? if you can get back into that menu, have you tried just restoring that back-up? If you did a factory reset, I'm assuming you can still do a restore from your back-up, so try that first.

Thirdly, if you're still stuck chances are you'll just have to sbf. There's plenty of great guides around here for it, but if you want individual help... well you're better off not asking me :p but you can look around for directions on how to do it on your own, not too difficult.

You can go from stock to .595 but you wont get the updated baseband. At this point there is nothing for him to backup to. He flashed over his froyo and corrupted it. He has no choice but SBF using RSDlite back to Froyo and starting again.

Go from stock Froyo to the 3 part .588 then flash the .595. If you want to do any theming or use any roms you will have to flash the deodexed/rooted version of .595.
