Best Beer in the U.S

I don't know that I could really nail it down to one. I'm sure I've only even had 1% of the beers available in the country. There's so many thousands of micro-breweries that it's nearly impossible to keep up.

That said, my personal favorite...crap, I can't pick one!

Samuel Adams - Pumpkin Ale
Boulevard Brewing - Amber Ale
Woochuck Cider - Amber
Lone Star Beer
Shiner Bock

What do you guys think is the best beer available in the U.S?

I can only give my perspective on the beers I have had myself. I have to say that Hawaii has the best beer. The micro brews there are great. My favorites are:

1.Kona Longboard Lager: When I go North Shore I stop to eat at a place called Pizza Bob's and have some chicken and mushroom pesto, with 3 or 4 of these beers and I am set to go beach.

2.Mehana Mauna Kea Pale Ale: So fresh tasting, so refreshing. We would get the pony kegs and throw them in the truck and go where ever, beach, mountains, anywhere.

These two beers are the best beers that stand out too me. I cannot think of any other beers that I miss. I am super bummed because I cannot order these beers online and have them shipped to me :( I need to go back home to Hawaii for a nice long vacation!

Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA, and if you can get it/afford it the 120 minute IPA.

This.

I live on the front range in Colorado so when I can't fine IPA from Dogfish Head (which is always now that that damn TV show is on) I have LOTs of great options brewed locally. As I travel I find that lots of the time people's favorites are brewed practically in my back yard.

My two favorites are free and cold. After the first 12, it doesn't matter. However after my second stint in treatment I learned about quality over quantity. I became a big fan of black and tans with Guinness and Bass. When I'm not being pretentious I generally keep some miller chill on hand. I did just have a few bud select 55's, and found that with lime they are quite palatable.

Lots of Boulevard fans! I actually haven't tried the Amber Ale yet, & I don't know why. I really like the Dry Stout and Lunar Ale. The Zon is a great one for summer, too.

I've never had a New Belgium beer that I didn't like. Fat Tire is my typical go-to beer when I'm @ a bar & grill.

My favorite beer, unfortunately, isn't from the US. It's Young's Double Chocolate Stout.
