Ok I've got my nook autonootered-stock.

I'm extreemely happy with it, but I want flash.

What is the easiest thing to do?

It took me weeks to talk myself into autonooter...so this just makes me nervous.

Is having flash even worth messing with it? I know you all think it would be, b/c this stuff is easy to you. To me, after the 3rd or 4th post I read about having to do this & do that and ROM manager, and flashing, and stuff I have no idea what to do.

Anybody out there nice enough to help me step by step? I've read tons of threads...and I just don't get it... I'm sorry :(

Thank you :)

yes I've read it several times, but until I watched the unlockr video I didn't feel like I was in anyway capable.
Thank you colchiro for posting it, can you tell me though if it's for 1.1? and I'll be able to use Adobe Flash?
I'm just scared that I'll jack something up and won't be able to get back!
I'm going to go today and get a 2gb sd card so I can make the stock back up like you say to, and then I guess I'll bite the bullet...

Your battery will last hours on your NC. Just make sure it's fully charged before you start. Then you only have to worry about the lights and computer staying on until you're done. :D

The Sandisk micro sd cards seem to be faster so you might look for one of those. I'd recommend a cheap 2gb to use as a bootable repair disk and a 8 gb for normal, daily use (backups, etc.) that stays in your NC with use.

I have a 16gb that I leave in my nook, for music & files. I used it to root before it had anything on it, then formatted it and loaded my stuff on it. I've copied all the files on it over to my computer, do I need to remove it before I do all this??

So I think that means all I need in addition to this is the 2gb for the repair disk, correct?

Thanks again!

Ok hold on darlin' you kinda lost me on that one... I thought I was using the 2gb for the first link on your post (below)

http://androidforums.com/nookcolor-...emod-your-nook-color-updated-5-11-2011-a.html

but you're saying to use it to load the rom first, and then put the repair image on it to keep for later correct?

Ok I told you this overwhelms me right? lol ;) I'll get it I promise!!

Thanks for your patience... :)
