Suggestion for a new forum (OTA update discussion)

Could we please create a forum for the discussion of OTA updates? Or have someone move these insistent threads to the Support forum?

Not trying to start a flame here, and I know (I know) I can simply skip reading such threads, but seriously when the update comes out you will get it! Stop posting asking repeatedly, 'When is it coming out, anyone heard? I haven't gotten it! Anyone else get the update yet? I heard it's coming out tomorrow....I heard it came out yesterday, anyone else hear anything? Speculation and hearsay are just that.

Again, move these threads to Droid X Support.

(okay, this is more of a rant than a real suggestion, now I feel better).

Well good thing the latest ota is out. Now ppl can stop asking

Imho if u move all the ota stuff to its own little corner then it would almost void the reason for general chat on the phone cause nothing else is going to be changing besides OS unless its posting in the thread for pics or for new owners that just want to find out certain stuff.

All this would do is create another place for stuff to take up our mods and guides time for no reason.

Not all of us post 10k times a day like Mr Mod Steven ^_^

lol. No those threads belong in the general DX section. They aren't about accessories, looking for support or troubleshooting, tips or tricks, or rooting. They will be gone in a week you won't see them anymore. And yes. A user just posted a thread saying the OTA broke his phone. So some people are getting it.

Well because the dx ota is out and because discussion and speculation is one of the things this forum is all about and since this is not a support issue we don't really need to kick this ball around much more.
