Google Music Beta

Go to google music and clear the data and force stop the app..

settings--application--manage applications--google music

I've been trying to get this working now for a week! I still can't see any music on my Droid X, even though I uploaded my entire collection via the music manager on my PC. I can see my whole collection on the music beta site in my browser.

I just tried the above method on my X, and still, it doesn't show my music at all on the X.

Anyone have any ideas? I'd prefer to use this over Amazon, but I'm just not having any luck getting it working.

*Edit* - My Droid X also doesn't show up on the list of "Authorized Devices" in my Music Beta settings. Argh!

2nd Edit - And Google's no help. Sent in a bug/feedback/help thing a week ago. ugh

I'm having exactly the same issue as well. Yes, its logged in from the same account. Tried re-installing app also after clearing the files.

I signed up the first day, and just got mine today. So it can take a while. So far I've tried been using it on PC and I have to say I really like it. Gave it a limited test on my X2 (not worth it till they fix the crackle). I'll give it a shot on my Chromebook later tonight (CR48, not one of the new ones). So far it's great, I just wonder how much they are going to charge for it once out of beta.

Also, the upload speed is not great. I'm get 32 megs per second on my upload, but it's uploading MUCH slower than that.

I got my invite a week or so ago. The website works beautifully however, I'm have trouble actually streaming on my EVO. My whole collection appears, but only 1 out of 10 songs will actually come through and stream. Lots of 'failed to retrieve stream' or something like that. Anyone else noticing this?

I got mine like 2 weeks back ! I uploaded half of my music library. I am using Amazon Cloud Player. I like it better than Google Music Beta. Upload is faster in Amazon and you have better control over uploading song ( you pause the upload and choose specific songs). In Google Music, you cannot pause the upload and uploading is very slow ! Also, in Amazon web handling or arranging songs and stuff is better. Amazon music app is also better than google music app. Thats what I think :)

Got my invite last night.

I just got done cleaning up my library and scheduling it for upload.

Some of the highlights are online database.
I can stream my music from any computer or Android 2.2 device.
I can download from my online database to make the song available in case of internet failure.
You can port your entire Itunes library ( not really for me ).
It seems to have a built in tag editor.

I love the clean layout and ease of access...

Uploaded my 30 gb collection in about a day to a day and a half so it uploads very quickly. I've got about 4500 songs up there. My only gripe is that it doesn't upload my playlists for some reason so I guess I'm going to have to re-create them from scratch.

I requested my invite on day one and received my invite on June 1. Downloaded/Sync'd my music (itunes) with no problem. I only wish the service handled videos as well.

A.Nonymous, I too wondered why my playlist didn't sync. I have to many to recreate, granted I rarely use them. So for me it's not an issue. HOWEVER, this feature should work.
