Help Version Update?

My service is not working on the 4 g network it is 117 eastern standard time I've called metro pcs they are aware of the update but they say they have no idea when it's going out they say it's due to marketplace I said well my neighbor has got 1 so that's not true they said corporate is issuing the updates I ask them if they have a contact number for corporate she told me she did not I am losing my mind here the update be due to when you got the number is anyone else is 4 g falling off at this time mine just keeps on uploading in the background shut off all applications and I'm going crazy

Same here in Detroit... I have 2 force 1x so I can use my apps.

i got mine working again i toggled my 4g off and stayed on 1x till 4g appeared on its own and it started working again it started for me this morning 8am tampa bay fl area

Yeah I called Metro and they said they were having issues with the web connection and they are wrkn on it and would be fix in 2hrs or so, that was 3hrs ago and now my 4g is bk up and staying on

seems the peeps u spoke to know indeed whats going on i called metro when this was going on and the dude was clueless he actually suggested that i reset my phone ROFL i almost considered it! good thing it started working again cuz i would of lost root

I actually bought my phone on the 21st or so. I hope i didn't miss the update.

San Jose here and no update yet either and I got mine on the 19th but if I dont get it by this weekend I'm going to complain at their corporate store.

I haven't heard 2many ppl saying they received the update lately, or at least no one has posted that they received the update recently, its been awhile since I seen that someone got it. Has anyone received this update in the past week??

Called Metro and spoke with a supervisor about the update. He did NOT even know it existed.

I am sorry but that is just not acceptable... Your flagship phone gets an update and the people who make decisions don't even know about it!!

I once AGAIN had to send them info on where the info could be found. It's sad when we know more then they do!!

I just called corporate office and they said they are going to send me the update today it is 1110 am will post if received

Your flagship phone gets an update and the people who make decisions don't even know about it!!

I can practically guarantee the supervisor you spoke to is not a person who can make decisions. It is quite probable the person you spoke with is a more senior CSR on the team (I worked in a call center - and got to be a "supervisor" all the time). At best you spoke with a team supervisor whose job is basically to make sure the CSR's below him are meeting their metrics but have little more power or influence than the CSR.

I am waiting and hoping for my update as well.

Once more... we cannot provide you folks with a custom ROM until a non-rooted (or, at most, rooted with no apps removed) user joins us in IRC. We need a clean, updated system image.

I actually called the corporate office headquarters he has put in a request for it it has not come through yet I will post all the corporate headquarters contact information as soon as I get to my computer there are listings for the ceos extension numbers and excetra I left a message with the main high up and within an hour I was called back from a local number tampa bay area 813 which is weird because the corporate office headquarters is 214 I got a direct line to a guy named ken I been calling him and he said that the update is on its way should be on my phone pretty soon just must be back log I'm actually kind of expect it could be there today got my fingers crossed will post

Good news everybody just got update for the phone I am rooted and bloatware removed area code 727 saint petersburg florida I had them force the update over the phone! !! I called corporate headquarters not the corporate store left a message for the main guy todd linguist was called back within 30 minutes the guy said he would put order in to push it through it didn't come for like 3 days was calling him everyday direct line to his number guy was real cool and within 5 days here it is speeds are faster I got 1 to 2 bars and I'm downloading around 3.5 mbs before was 486 kbps I am tethered usb and m running starcraft 2 I love metro screw all the haters but the battery does suck on this phone

Some people in 415 and 510 got the update. Its not by area code or area for that matter.

So its just by some randomly created list with those on the east coast having been put closer to the top of it.

I am in New York 718 and 516 and still not updated. I got my phone 1 month after it came out. I think is totally random order.
