Quadrant Scores: Post'em!!!

Maybe I'm too methodical with my benchmarking, but here's mine. I tested 4 different ways: as-is (after about 48 hours of use), after killing background processes, after a fresh reboot (allowing my background procs to run), and after freezing Flash 10.1.120.10 (and rebooting after freezing it). I ran 4 tests under each scenario, 2 in LauncherPro and 2 in Blur Home. Blur Home was default, with no changes to the default widget layout. I took the higher of the two scores from each. The tests were also done while attached to a wall charger, just in case that would have any impact.

Code:
       As-is: LP - 2462 Blur - 2486
Procs Killed: LP - 2568 Blur - 2586
      Reboot: LP - 2680 Blur - 2707
Flash Frozen: LP - 2717 Blur - 2712

So it looks like Blur Home has about a 1% edge in most tests. It also appears that freezing Flash has the potential to increase scores, though not by a large margin. If nothing else, I've at least got Flash frozen to see if it helps me with the media issues.

1st run - 2722
2nd run- 2864
I manage a gowireless store, and recently ran quadrant on thunderbolt, droid 2 global, and my pretty new x2. The tbolt was consistently between 1160 and 1720. The d2g was between 1300 and 1650. My x2 has ALWAYS scored at least 2500 (and that was after I opened and backed out of a bunch of apps to see what it would do).

Overall, very fast phone, and the only complaint I have (besides being impatient for custom roms) is the horrible video recordinh, but switching to save to internal memory fixed that.

Day'um. Amazing! (Steven hides his droid x in shame)

The scores for the DX2 are nice, but with GB (I'm OC'd at 1.2, low voltage) the DX consistently scores between 1900 and 2100 for me. Not too shabby either, really. I was going to spring for the DX2 with my available upgrade, but have decided to hold off, especially with GB on the DX and the current buggy issues of the DX2.

Good move. If the issues are fixed with GB on the DX2, I will get the DX2 again. I miss the device, but NOT the problems- at all.

Took me a day to readjust to the smaller display on the Inc.

To be honest, reading your posts was one of the big reasons I declined on using my upgrade on the DX2 right now. Obviously, the DX2 has some inherent problems, and it is possible a software update may not be able to fix them all. I am glad I waited, as my DX can likely do anything the DX2 can at this point, and from reports, much of it at least as quick and smooth if not moreso than the DX2. In other words, no reason to waste my upgrade at this time. For now, my DX will be fine until a worthy phone worth upgrading to hits on Verizon.
