why do you ask if you don't want to read the answer?
anyway chismay is right, the apps it closes when clearing your memory will automatically start again, they're just running in the background and it's usually widgets and sync services etc., that's why it is crucial on a device with less than 300megs of ram to keep the phone clean (you don't have to, but don't expect multitasking or anything else).
this means:
- only keep widgets on your homescreen that you actually use, so no clocks and musicplayer or whatever (except if you really need that of course)
- delete apps you don't use
- if you don't use gmail, facebook or any other webservice, disable autosync in your settings (you don't have to disable it for all accounts)
- seriously: delete apps you don't use
- you could go even further and flash your device to remove sammy's bloatware, that can free up another 30-40mb of ram, but you risk bricking your phone and void your warranty
most important thing: don't get an app that automatically ends those services running in the background! widgets automatically start again, so this will just drain your battery and might also have an impact on performance.
