So I got my invite today and I just finished uploading all of my songs onto the Cloud. I downloaded the Google Music Beta app and when I open it the app does not ask to sync music with my gmail account. So basically I can't start streaming my music yet.. :( Is anyone else experiencing this problem or know of a fix? By the way I'm using a Nexus One running CM7 7.0.2.1

I think you need to with Google Account settings where you'll find those option!
What exactly am I supposed to be changing? I can't find anything at all x.x

Try deleting the app and reinstalling it from the market. That's what I had to do to get mine to work.

Then open the app and hit menu/settings and chose your account.
I tried that, but the thing is when I hit menu there is no settings button. There's only 'shuffle all' and 'search'.

Go into where your list of music would be and then hit menu. When you're on the Now Playing screen it won't let you access the settings.

I've tried accessing settings from every screen it has. No matter where I go there's no settings. And I never got the 'welcome to google music' screen that I'm reading that some other people are getting.

Edit: Well I've read for some people it took a few days before the message popped up so hopefully that'll happen... I wish that it could just happen now though lol.

On the phone you have to go into the main settings, go to accounts and sync, select the google account you synced your music to (if you have more than 1) and select to sync music. I had to do this THEN the settings option showed when I hit the menu button in the music app.

That's the problem though, there is no option to sync music listed there.

Are you using the same account for google music and the primary account on the phone?

Yeah same one. I've tried force stopping it, clearing data, uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing works still. I've read others have had this happening to them and they just waited and eventually things started working so I hope that happens to me too =\
