Help can't remove seidio innocase

skinnhc is correct. The Innocase Active X and Innocase II Surface are two different cases. Our Innocase Rugged Combo is just the Innocase II Surface with additional layers.

To anyone having trouble removing their case, please see this manual: http://www.seidioonline.com/v/vspfiles/assets/images/csr3.png

Not to come out wrong but that link is the same thing that comes with the innocase... And only leads to frustration since its not overly detailed and the case gets stuck during removal... You really need a video

Hello All,

Thank you for your interest and we apologize for your issues on removing the case. If you are still having issues, you can also refer to this manual, which is also found on all ThunderBolt and Inspire 4G cases product page:

1. Place phone face down on a table
2. Push down with your right thumb on the word SEIDIO on the lower part of the case
3. With your left Hand, squeeze the sides of the upper part of the case as close as you can to the "split" or "Crease" bewtween both cases
4. Pull

If you fail once, try try again...

These directions work well. The first time it IS hard to get off. After that its easier. Squeezing together at the sides is KEY.

Has anybody experienced their case not being as snug after taking the case off? I've had to remove my case twice ... there seems to be some wiggle now on the bottom half of the case. When I first applied it the case it was practically part of the phone. It has me a little concerned that it may slip off.

I've NOT had that experience. Mine still fits like a glove.

I love this case but spent an hour and couldn't get it off no matter what I tried (and yes, I was following the instructions). In desperation, I decided to very quickly (about 5 secs) warm the back of the case with a hot blow dryer....the case instantly slid off! Super quick....phone wasn't even the slightest bit warm from the dryer.

I just bought the case and wanted to take it off to put phone in a car cradle that won't accomodate the case. I have tried all these except the hairdryer (kind of scared by that) to no avail - my thunderbolt has a screen protector the best buy people installed when I bought it and that's all full of bubbles now too.

Could it be the screen protector is making it stick tighter?

Yes and this is another reason I dropped the seidio for my Ringke case. It doesnt fit right with any type of cover on your screen which to me seems a bit stupid. You might want to strip off the screen protector and then try again. Chances are you found out the hard way like I did that these cases fit too snug for ANYTHING else on your phone in an area that touches the case.

So I've used the seidio innocases without a problem before this... but now that I have one for my thunderbolt, I can't seem to get it off!
I've never had a problem removing these before I got this new one. Does anyone have any tips? Squeezing the sides does *not* seem to make the middle bulge out like on my old cases, and doing that while pushing down on the bottom piece seems to do nothing.

Does anyone have any tips? I've tried it flat against a table and everything already ;o

edit: ah, nvm. I had to end up sliding something underneath it, but I got it off!

I think maybe some of the problems people may be having is that they are expecting a "pop" or some sort of indication that the clasp has released. Mine clicked shut the first time I put it on, and that was the last click I heard from the case. Now I squeeze the sides--nothing seems to happen, but I can slide the case apart. I think it does get easier.

I really like this case. Everyone likes the ringke case, too, but I love the texture of this case. Goes in and out of my pockets as easy as it did when naked.
