Who else has grown to hate the rivets in your jean pockets?

They did it to my poor Blackberry. Droid doesn't have a scratch on it and I've left it in my pocket with keys on many a drunken eve. Love the glass on this thing.

No, not my jeans rivets, but my wedding band has scrubbed the finish a little. Maybe only I can see it, it really good light, when my eyes aren't tired at the end of the day, BUT IT'S THERE, MAN! 
I've been putting my Droid in a zip lock bag until I find a suitable leather sleeve (or make one). My issue is mostly with dust, but I accidentally slipped my keys into the same pocket with it the other day.
Sometimes I wish the damned thing was just a giant flip phone made of stainless steel!

Try putting in the opposite front pocket. You're probably putting it in the same pocket that the smaller coin pocket is on. It has those two rivets on it that will scratch the hell out of your phone. The other pocket just has it on the corners, and they're out of the way. Never had a problem.

Why did I ever think that I was the only person this bothered. I actually have two pair of jeans that have the offending rivet removed. They were surprisingly difficult to remove but not a problem in the end.

happened with my blackberry, i stopped putting my phone in my right pocket, been using my left pocket ever since lol

This is funny because I was just thinking about this the other day as Droid was clanking on rivet. I can't switch pockets because it would screw with my routine. Ha!
