Dude jsst download XJ MIUI. I dont see any difference between MIUIandroid and XJ except for couple of apps.

Just noticed with the latest update the notification bar only shows the miui circle with dots and a number and not the actual app which has the notification.

Miui XJ 1.6.3 is now running with happiness on a CM7 table. I'm told that a 30Mb cache should be used so that games can run faster! Frankly I think a 5Mb does it OK, if you want fast an smooth buy a focused machine. Plenty of PS2's out there now for

I know I hate it! Infact alot of people arent happy about that but since notification bar is work in progress I am hoping they fix it soon.

I kinda like the new way it's done. Persistent notifications I have, like Tasker, Trillian, etc are grouped, which is fine since I don't need to see them at all times, and when something new comes in like an email or message, the notification shows up separately. I think it's quite a neat solution.

Chinese devs have released a statement regarding the grouped notification icons. It seems they are considering giving us options as to how we want the notification icons to appear on our screen. Ive managed to get the original statement google translated so its not perfect but you'll get the gist of it!

That sounds an awesome idea, at least then everyone is happy, I don't mind how it is now as sms and email are still separate, but I use weather bug, which has a permanent notification for current temp, and with the new setup this was hidden, so I'm looking forward to the new options. Will it be this Friday or is it still a work in progress?

No idea! Its a question of wait and see. Keep an eye on weekly changelogs every Wednesday. Back to the notification thing I am loving the idea of giving us options on things! They did the same with toggles aswell. MIUI rocks!

Was running miui xj Apps2sd+ version happily for last few months... Updated two weeks ago and now getting the dreaded low on space message.... Sd card is partitioned so any ideas why apps2sd would just stop working? Not the greatest techie in world so be gentle!!

Did you active A2SD via terminal? If not install terminal emulator on your phone then run this command:
su
a2sd reinstall

I have the same issue, but its the cache that is filling up and not auto clearing, just check your cache isn't full, if it is you will have to clear it manually using root explorer or Android mate,

Chinese devs have confirmed that notification bar is getting revamped this Friday. When I say revamped I mean they are bringing back the old froyo style notification icons which means no more grouped notifications!!
They are also including a new USB toggle in the notification drop down.

My next phone will definitely NOT have an encrypted bootloader, so I can take advantage of all the wonderful mods and roms you guys have in your day to day experience. I have the DX (Moto). I got it before I started modding. Now, I regret the bootloader thing. This Miui rom is definitely one I would have loved to have. Enjoy it!

It will be available on all MIUI roms including au, xj, miuiandriod... Ive read somewhere there will be few other lock styles available aswell! Exciting times!!
